## Directory contract

Each directory under `companies/` contains:

- `research.md` - comprehensive Simplified Chinese research dossier.
- `source_manifest.md` - source-by-source evidence ledger.
- `assets/` - downloaded public visual assets plus provenance notes.
- `sources/` - saved public webpages or other source files used in the research.
- `report.html` - self-contained, responsive individual competitor report.

The combined report is located at `comprehensive_report/index.html`.
The delivery inventory and evidence totals are documented in `PACKAGE_MANIFEST.md`.

For Cloudflare Pages, publish this directory as the static output directory. The root `_headers` file forces archived third-party source pages to download inside a sandboxed response instead of executing under the report origin.

## Evidence rules

- First-party pages support current messaging, product descriptions, CTAs, pricing, and explicitly labeled self-reported metrics.
- Editorial reporting supports financing, team size, launch timing, and founder interviews.
- Community and accelerator pages support public-appearance dates and launch wording, not product performance.
- Missing or inaccessible information is recorded as unavailable rather than inferred.
- Every observation keeps fact, interpretation, and Typework recommendation separate.
